Nicola Richardson Architects

A current client of AJ Building Control Design, working together for the past couple of years focusing on mainly double storey/ single storey rear extensions and internal modifications. Brick and block cavity wall constructions cover the majority of standard rear extensions we work with and making them look good is no easy challenge. Home Farm Oxfordshire

Home farm consisted of an extensive farm house remodel. Extensions to both sides with a structural oak frame throughout. Fully wrap around bi- fold doors, and various rooflights all required detailing to the highest standards. Click here to see more of this project.

White Hart Barn Buckinghamshire

White Hart barn consisted of a
stone barn constructed from a local material called Wychert. Care had to be
taken to allow the walls and floor to continue to breathe with lime render and
special lime screed. All openings had to be supported with Oak “goal
post” frame. A tricky one to detail. Click here
to see more of this project.
